Book Recommendations for Child Safety

As I mentioned in my previous blog, Mark and I have been through many days of child safety training, as we have served with two different missions on two different continents.  We have really valued the training, as well as the hearts of our sending agencies to see that our children are well protected at home and abroad.  Here are some books that were recommended to us by our excellent child safety team at Pioneers.

God Made All of Me by Justin and Lindsey Holcomb **

Your Body Belongs to You by Cornelia Superman **

My Body Belongs to Me! by Dagmar Geisler **

I Said No! A Kid-to-Kid Guide to Keeping Private Parts Private by Kimberly and Zach King

A Terrible Thing Happened by Margaret M. Holmes

Talk About Touch by Sandra Kleven

** I've personally read these books to my kids and recommend them.

The link below is for a series of four books that we have used with our kids at various stages to teach them about sex. They're not cheesy or awkward.  They're straightforward and biblical.  I think they're great for any family.

God's Design for Sex Series by Stan and Brenna Jones
